A concert to celebrate the arrival of the new Steinway Piano

We celebrate the inaugural concert of St. Editha’s newly acquired Steinway Model B grand piano in style with a showcase performance by a variety of recitalists.

Featuring a range of music: classical to contemporary, film music, songs from the shows and more, all chosen to put the instrument through its paces!

The Steinway Model B is often called “the perfect piano”, blending incomparable sound quality with a beautifully resonant tone, worthy of such a magnificent setting as St. Editha’s.

The purchase of the piano was made possible by the Beardsley Blood Trust, the J. W. Pemberton Trust, the Friends of St. Editha's and several generous individuals.
