A new, spectacular light and sound experience is coming to St. Editha's this October.
"Scriptorium: The Illuminated Histories" is an immersive journey inspired by the intricate beauty of illuminated manuscripts from the Anglo-Saxon era. Visitors will be transported into a world where meticulously crafted pages come alive in vivid detail, as dynamic projections illuminate the stunning interior of St Editha’s with a vibrant symphony of colour, light, and sound. From awe-inspiring depictions of the artistry of Anglo-Saxon motifs, mythical dragons, and gallant knights, the installation promises a sensory experience unlike any other.
From 23rd - 26th October, timed entry from 5.30pm - 8.30pm.
