Have you voted yet for 2020 Outdoor Cinema?
Polls are now open for your chance to vote for the movie you would love to watch at this year’s popular Outdoor Cinema, in the picturesque Castle Grounds.
More than 600 movie lovers have so far voted online, from a shortlist of films they would most like to see on a big screen in the great outdoors.
Top of the polls so far are three films fighting for the 9pm showing - Grease, The Greatest Showman and Rocketman.
The midnight showing has two main films competing for the top, with Silence of the Lambs and The Shining.
If you want to see these films as the winning choices, or maybe you think it should be another movie from the list, then getting voting now! Polls will close on January 31.
This summer’s Outdoor Cinema takes place on Saturday, August 8, and will again include one movie at 9pm, followed by a midnight movie, both adult only events.
Choices for the 9pm show are:
- Rocketman
- The Greatest Showman
- Coyote Ugly
- Grease
- Moulin Rouge
- Chicago
Choices for the midnight movie are:
- The Shining
- Alien
- Jaws
- Silence of the Lambs
- American Werewolf in London
- The Blair Witch Project
The Outdoor Cinema and audience poll is again being organised by Tamworth Borough Council’s Arts and Events team as part of the 2020 programme of events.
Votes can be cast online via: www.tamworthartsandevents.co.uk/home by clicking on the homepage slider at the top.
